Almost ever year since we've been married, we've spent Thanksgiving with Ryan's family. This year Ryan & I decided to spend it with my family. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Ry.
Right before dinner, Nicole passed out a piece of paper to everyone and announced that after dinner we were going to have a turkey drawing contest. Thanks everyone for participating. You made her day and she felt very special.
My dad planned some crafts for the kids too. They made teepee's & log cabins in honor of the first Thanksgiving. 
Then there was some knitting. For some reason a Roundy Family get-together never seems to be complete without it!
Then we topped off the night with a good solid 4 1/2 hours of Rock Band. Everyone had a chance to play. Mom really got into it. See her getting into the groove? There was even some swaying & snapping involved.

Why is it that when we all get together, the knitting breaks out? You are all such great knitters, (or hoopers as the case may be) that I will never have the need to take it up myself. I will just let the rest of you do your thing. =)
Yes the new blog makes me even more excited for Christmas! Dude Thanksgiving was totally fun! I am super duper glad you guys came. And these pics are fun!
