I Thought This Could Be Fun

I saw this kind of 'reverse tag' on my friend's blog and I thought it would be fun to play along. It's times like this when I wish I was one of those 25 comments per post gals instead of my sad little 4 or 5 comments. :( Oh well...Here are the rules:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! This is a perfect time for all you blog-stalkers or rare-posters to make yourself known. :)

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you (and if this isn't on there...I'll assume you're a procrastinator like me and will check back later!)
.
Hello? Are you out there? You're always telling me how you are reading stuff on my blog. Why are you not posting comments? I'm feeling a little sad and all alone. :(

I don't have really anything that great to post, but I do remember when you and all of your sisters were over at Lonnie and Linda's for a "foot" party! I thought it was so fun to see how you and your sisters all shared fun stories together. It actully reminded me of when me and my sisters get together.

First I want to ask what happened to your blog jar topic for today, when I was at work, I saw you did one, but I didn't have time to read it.

Umm, lets see a memory I have of you???

We went to high school together, we didn't really talk much, mainly because I was really shy in high school and was afraid of people. I tried really hard to hide that though. I do remember being slightly jealous of you then because of how tall and skinny you were, and you were just always cute.
I am tired and can't really think of anything specific at the moment.
Lame I know, sorry!!

Hmmm...I remember the few times we went to your house to play games. The first time, Parker was really scared of your cat, so he wouldn't go to sleep. Trying to play games with a wiggly toddler was next to impossible, but somehow it worked out! The next time, Audrey threw up all over you right when we got there. You guys were great party hosts...wish we could've partied more before you moved! Like I said, though...we're open to coming to see your new, beautiful house!

And I'm sad that you're not teaching in RS anymore, too, by the way! I loved your lessons!

I know this is an odd memory, but the first time I remember seeing you was in RS and you were sneaking saltine cracker because you were pregnant. I thought how pretty you were I couldn't imagine this tall, thin beautiful girl with a big belly. Then when you got one you looked way too cute and knew then I could not be your friend, but you were too nice so I was. I really miss our visits too. I was so glad when I got Ali as my VT partner and had such awesome girls to visit. The new house looks great by-the-by!

I remember that on our first date you told me how bad my outfit was. My socks were too tall, my pants were not in style, and my shirt....well, you get the idea. I was so blindly in love that I threw out my socks, destroyed my jeans, basically...changed my entire wardrobe for you! Thanks for the fashion tip - I love you.

I remember discussing the movie swingers with you and how we both liked it and Ryan hated it, and some how it ended up causing a fight between you and Ryan. I also remember watching you dangle from a parachute harness for 15 mins in Jamaica as the boat just kept draging your along. but you where still smiling when you got back in the boat. what a good sport.

I just remember all the great chats we had while VT. I could seriously sit and talk to you for hours! I sure do miss you and your fam! Let's get together!

I have to say I've known you all my life, but wasn't always very nice when I was a kid...sorry :(. Jillyn and I would gang up on you a bit. I remember riding down the big dirt hill in your back yard on power wheels and tricycles, even before that sliding down the stairs in your old apartment in pillow cases. I remember playing on stilts at my house with you and Jill and lots more memories...

So many memories! One random memory is when we were kids and dad sat us on the hood of that old green truck to take our picture. (the picture with grandma Roundy sitting in the truck) You had a walking stick that I greatly coveted. And your hair was curly from a wonderful "my mom permed my hair" perm. I think we were somewhere in the Duck Creek area.

Good times.

My memory is also a little random, but I loved coming over to your house and playing games. (I can't remember the name-I think it was Carcason-but I could be horribly wrong) I really enjoyed coming over for a good time and playing games! We should do that again soon.

So many fond memories, so little time. Here are a couple:

Our day out. After the guys spend a whopping 13 hours playing Magic at a tournament we decided it was only fair to have a day out. I don't think we matched them hour for hour, but we sure tried. We went to lunch, shopped, and got our hair cut. Did we see a movie too? I can't remember. Anyway, it's always fun to spend time with you. I miss you!

The other important one is not just one instance, it's the countless nights we spent as families letting the kids play/destroy our houses while we played games. If we weren't spending time with you guys we weren't doing much else besides hoping to spend time with you guys.
