My little sister recently gave me her old bike. I was so thrilled. Since the girls started school, it's just Audrey & I for almost 4 hours in the afternoon. I have been wanting so badly to exercises and I thought this would be the perfect way. I hunted and hunted and I finally found a brand-new-in-box bike seat carrier for only $15. Hooray! After Ryan & struggled for
way too long to assemble the seat, I thought I'd take the bike out today for a test run. Things didn't go so smoothly. In my one short little loop around the parkway, here's what I discovered about my wonderful new bike. The seat is set for a shortie and is apparently rusted shut so I can't raise it, the chain slips off if you try to change gears, the handlebars turn independently from the front tire, and the brakes apparently don't work
at all. So a little dejected, I lowered my head and walked my bike back home. I'm one very sad girl right now.

I hear you sister! I did the same thing and every time I would take my bike out I would find something else wrong with it. So I finally gave up. But at least we tried right?
Maybe you can fix up your bike and try again. Good Luck.
Ha ha! OK, I feel sorry for you, but that was pretty funny. I love how you describe your dejected walk back home. A for effort, right?
What sister gave you the bike?
I am sorry it didn't work, you have been working and working on that darn thing. Maybe Santa will notice add a bike to your list.
Oh! That really is sad! I saw you ride by our house and I was really impressed! I still am, to find out all the work you went to in order to get out on it. I'm sorry!
