My sweet husband, sensing that maybe I was just a wee bit burned out last night, set up a secret and spontaneous date. He called his sister Mindy to come watch the girls and off we went. We went to the Gateway and walked around in the warm October night and ended up at the movie theater where we watched this movie:
It was very intense and quite entertaining, but I must say it had the same plot line as like 500 other movies. If there's anything I've learned from watching the movies, It's never, EVER build a super computer! It's just not a good idea! It will ALWAYS try to take over the world.
When we got home all of our girls were bed, so we asked Mindy & Mike to stick around and rock out with us for a while. (They hadn't ever played Rock Band before) We all stayed up way too late and I ended up having such a fun night.
Thanks so much Mindy & Mike for being willing to drive all the way up here and watch our kids for us on the spur of the moment. And thanks so much to Ryan for making this whole night happen. It was just what I needed. I love you!

That sounds awesome. I plan all our dates and get sitters. I'm impressed with your husband. I'm glad you had fun.
Sounds fun! It's true about the super computers. They will always get you, no matter what.
Glad you got to get out and see the world a little bit!
Also saw this show, very good! I heard that our spouses went to lunch today, I need to get something out of that. Maybe some Bennihana's, you should do the same.
