After the snow lingered for a month longer than I thought it should, I wasn't so sure we'd have the chance for April showers. I guess the rain just decided to come late too. This is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the smell and the sound of the warm rain tapping on my windows, and the greenness all around. The rain still draws me outside and, admittedly, I find I still have a strong desire to grab an umbrella and dance in the rain. I decided to introduce my girls to the joys of spring showers. Audrey was not so sure about the whole thing and was very preoccupied by the fact that her feet were getting wet, but Allie took right to it, whirling and twirling like a proper young girl should. I love the rain!

Oh I'm so glad you let the kids play in the rain. We love to play in the rain! I like rain slickers so they dont get really soaked. But I can splash with the best of them. We also like to leave the front door open and sit in the doorway and watch it rain. Have a good rainy day.

I do love sitting inside watching it rain. I wasn't too happy to come home to it, though. Maybe I need to go outside and twirl in it...then I won't have such a bad attitude about the not warm weather!
This must be a love ingrained from childhood. I too LOVE to go out in the rain and dance. I had my windows and doors open yesterday listening to the rain and thunder. What a welcome change to snow and cold!!
