So Darn Sore

Ouch!  On Monday I started a new, overly intense, workout routine and I'm not loving life today (or yesterday for that matter).  I am so darn sore!  I am also eating my words.  A friend who had started this routine about a week before I did was complaining how sore she was.  I immediately jumped in and said, "I kinda like being sore.  It shows me I'm working hard.  It's a good kind of hurt."  Ha ha ha.  Joke's on me.  I do not like being so sore.
So here's my question... Am I doing the right thing? Is it healthy to be living in a constant state of severe pain?  Because I have a feeling this is going to be the new me.  At least for a very, very, very long time.  Ouch!

p.s.  Is anyone as frustrated as I am that the spell check no longer seams to be part of Blogger?  I have been successfully been hiding the fact that I'm not the world's best speller.  Now my secret is out.  Everyone knows!  :(

Give it a week! Even though you still won't be able to do the whole routine without breaks, you won't be sore anymore, so it'll be easier to forget how much it sucks!
