Today I woke up to some very sad new. My sweet grandpa passed away early this morning.
He hasn't been doing well for some time now, which makes his passing bittersweet. Grandpa was always there for us - every birthday, every holiday, every baptism, every blessing... always with a giant smile. Even when his health was deteriorating, he never lost his joy. We will miss you very much.

Oh, I'm sorry Sarah! That makes me think of my sweet Grandpa...it's been a year and a half now since he passed away! I'm glad you have good memories of your grandpa.
