What do you do when you find yourself sitting at home watching your husband and 'the guys' playing cards on a Friday night again? What do you do when you feel tha the testosterone level in your generally female-dominant household has gotten way too high? And what do you do when the men's incessant shouts of strategy and victory drown out your TV? You call your sisters! Hooray for sisters! We rescued each other from the masculine cries of 'the gaming husband' and ran away to the mall. Sweet relief.
I really wanted to get a cute picture of my sisters and I to post on my blog. This proved much easier said than done. We huddled together and tried the whole hold-out-the-camera-and-take-a-picture-of-yourself thing.
First I got this picture.
Then this picture.
Then Jill decided I wasn't a very good photographer and grabbed the camera from me and took this lovely picture.
And this one.
The whole time we were trying to get a great shot, these two guys were just sitting on a bench watching our crazy struggle. They never offered to help. I can only imagine what they must have been thinking. We finally broke down and asked a nice looking lady to help us out and snap off a shot of us. She must have been a professional photographer, because boy do we look great!
It's fun to have such great sisters to do fun things with on a Friday night.
We missed you Lauri!!!

Ha Ha Ha! You forgot to include the wonderful fabulous shot that I did get after I took the column one and the blurry lights one. We did have fun, thanks ladies!
I'm so glad you told me about your blog! I had to come right home to look at it! I'm jealous that you have sisters close by to call when the testosterone levels get too high. Your blog is super cute. Thanks for a fun night!
Fun for you!! Your blog looks awesome, by the way. It looks like you ladies had a lot of fun. I wish I had ANY family near by. I haven't needed to escape the testosterone at all (Mike has yet to make good friends here), but I don't need much of an excuse to get out with a bunch of girls!
Sarah! That ias a good time! Had by all! Too bad there was no Steve and Barry's! Next time for sure! And we will invite Lauri! :) Good times ladies!!! I do love the glamour shot of us at the bottom! I think I say that pic in Vanity Fair the other day, didn't I?
